Are Marlene Dietrich trousers also suitable for small women?

Marlene Dietrich trousers only suit tall women with long legs. Not true! Small women can also wear wide trousers well, you just have to know how.

With this look, too, the right proportions are important. Small women should NOT combine Marlene Dietrich trousers with long or oversized tops such as oversized sweaters or long jackets.

An optimal combination that makes the legs look longer looks like this:

  • Wearing heeled shoes

  • Shoes should be the same color as the pants

  • Tight-fitting short top that reaches up to the waist

Marlene Dietrich trousers look great on petite women when combined like this! Here are a few examples.

“Style is what you do differently while everyone else is doing the same.” Carolina Herrera

In recent years I have observed that people are becoming more and more extreme in everything they do. Whether it is in nutrition, fashion, politics or sport, everything is painted in black and white.

Either they don't pay attention to their diet and stuff themselves with whatever they want, or they live a completely ascetic life and avoid all sweet and fatty foods. When it comes to sport, there only seem to be two options: you're either a couch potato or a dogged extreme athlete who spends every free minute in the gym. The same applies to clothing. I either wear sloppy or super chic clothes; when it comes to clothing style, there's either the "me too" faction or the crazy individualist.

I wonder where all the moderate people have gone, those who eat healthily but do not forego pleasure, who take the stairs instead of the lift but without a pedometer, and those who know what suits them and what is fashionable and have the ability to combine the two to create their own style?

Are you part of the small minority who have a good sense of fashion and what suits you? Then write to me, preferably with a photo, about what makes up your individual style and help others to find their own style.

I am very much looking forward to your letters!

Don't miss any posts.
